Jennifier Stewart

Conference Manager

Jennifier joined WAA in August 2014 after having relocated to Portland from New York City.  In NYC, Jennifier was at the Broadway League--the national trade association for the Broadway theatre industry--for more than 10 years, and it was here she developed a genuine enthusiasm for providing member-based service.  

In her role as Conference Manager, Jennifier is responsible for organizing all operational aspects of WAA's annual conference. These responsibilities include: coordinating site selection; hotel contract negotiation; sponsorship acquisition and fulfillment; overseeing the exhibit hall; and managing all event spaces and hospitality. Jennifier also organizes WAA's smaller, more specialized meetings that take place throughout the year.  She has a B.A. in Theatre Arts from the University of Oregon and a Masters of Arts in Dramatic Arts from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  

Jennifier and her husband are the glowing parents of two fabulous kids, 8 and 5. There is always a cup of tea on her desk.
