WAA Institute: Conexiones Lab

WAA/3 Day Startup Conexiones Lab

The WAA Institute has been suspended at this time. We hope to re-launch the program in the future.

The Time is Now

Given the heightened tensions around race, immigration, and social justice so prevalent in the US, it’s imperative that we, as artists, arts organizations, and presenters, demonstrate leadership and dedication to American values of justice, equality, liberty, and inclusion. Instead of a wall, let’s build a bridge. But how? How do we launch programs or works that will inspire meaningful and lasting change in our communities? The 2017 WAA Institute is here to help you turn that corner.

WAA developed the Conexiones Lab in partnership with 3 Day Startup, an Austin-based nonprofit that specializes in experiential learning and entrepreneurship. This is not your ordinary retreat, but a dynamic, hands-on, learning-by-doing, action-based event that promises to do nothing less than fundamentally change the way you work.
