Cory Baker is the President & CEO of The Long Center in Austin, Texas, where she provides artistic direction and leads the executive team. In her role at Austin's Front Row, Cory oversees a wide-variety of initiatives including an eclectic mix of performances on two indoor stages and an outdoor amphitheater, extensive outreach and education programs and partnerships, community events and festivals that support and promote Austin artists. Prior to coming to the Long Center, Cory was the Director of the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. Baker holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in sociology and religious studies from Arizona State University and has 20 years of experience working in the arts. She is the Immediate Past President of the Western Arts Alliance board, a Texans for the Arts Board Member and has served on the board for California Presenters, The City of Scottsdale’s Tourism Task Force, and as a hub-site representative for the National Dance Project.
