Brian Penix

Brian Penix, a Nashville native and a music business graduate from Middle Tennessee State University, is a founding partner at ABI Management and a talent buyer for National Shows 2 (NS2). In 2002, Penix began his career in Knoxville at AC Entertainment where he helped launch the first-ever Bonnaroo Music Festival. In 2006, he joined Outback Concerts where he booked and produced national tours for artists such as Alison Krauss & Union Station. In 2010 Penix helped form NS2 under Darin Lashinsky. In 2014, Penix founded ABI Management with his business partner Aaron Frank. Together, they manage Tommy Emmanuel, Jerry Douglas, Earls of Leicester, Andy McKee, SIMO, and Greta Van Fleet. In 2012, Venues Today named Penix one of the Generation Next Award Winners. Penix and his wife Renee, currently live in Franklin with their 6-year old son, Maxwell.
