Cynthia Fuentes’ mission is to use art, culture, and music as a tool for community change. Currently, she is the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association’s (L.A. Phil) Marketing Manager for where she focuses in establishing community and media partnerships to engage non-traditional audiences for Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Hollywood Bowl. Prior to her tenure at the L.A. Phil, Cynthia began her communications work at XLNC1 104.9FM, a bi-national and bilingual radio station serving San Diego and Baja Californian regions; where she lead the stations transnational marketing and community outreach. Cynthia is also the co-founder and producer of a women-lead independent music and food series called “LA Prueba Test Kitchen + Music Lab” in South East Los Angeles. Cynthia holds B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Integrated Marketing Communication and Political Science from San Diego State University.
