Frank Henry Katasse, whose Tlingit name is Kaash, is an Alaska Native Tlingít from the Tsaagweidí clan. Frank is an actor, author, director, producer, improviser, educator, and playwright. Frank received his Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Hawaii: Mānoa. Frank moved back home to Alaska in 2008 where he has been fortunate enough to work as an artist in countless projects on the stage, in film, in books, as a public speaker, and throughout his community. He is passionate about developing new Alaskan plays for the stage. Frank now lives and works in Douglas, Alaska with his wife and two children.
