City of Vancouver

New Friends, New Markets, New Opportunities

For the first time in our nearly 50 year history, WAA will venture beyond the US border for our annual conference!

With its thriving music scene, flourishing dance community, beautiful concert halls, vibrant First Nations heritage, and unique transpacific cultural connection, Vancouver is simply bursting with great performance.

Includes our conference hotel, transportation sites, all off-site venues, and fab-o dining options recommended by our Host Subcommittee (from pancakes to ramen and mochas to oysters)!

>>Vancouver Shopping
This one needs its own map! Our Host Subcommittee has compiled their fave spots for everything from records and books, to gifts for the kids, to curiosities and vintage consignment.  (Chocolatiers have their own section!)

We know you have concerns, and in the coming days, weeks, and months, the WAA Staff will be working to ensure you have all of the information you need. But in the meantime, Stay Up-To-Date by signing up for WAA's Emails and keep up on all important conference announcements. Also, check out Tourism Vancouver's WAA 2015 website.

Sightseeing Tours

WAA's Vancouver Host Subcommittee has planned three fun and easy ways for early comers to explore the City. You'll be able to register for these and other Pre-Conference Sessions during online registration which opens May 1, 2015. Visit the page for more details.
