Folsom Lake College is seeking an events professional to take a leadership role at the Harris Center for the Arts, a Regional Performing Arts Center opened in February 2011.

About the Event Services Supervisor position: 
Reporting to the Executive Director and a key member of the Center’s leadership team, the Event Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing three primary areas of Harris Center operations: 

(1)    Facility rentals and gallery exhibitions -- includes maintaining the related master schedule/calendar and facility user database, meeting with facility and gallery users, preparing facility rental agreements, ensuring compliance with key facility use contract requirements, and preparing facility billing worksheets; 

(2)    Front-of-house event operations; and

(3)    A large and extensive volunteer program.

The Event Services Supervisor recruits, selects, trains, oversees, evaluates, schedules, and coordinates staff and volunteers in these areas.  The position’s annual starting salary is $58,654 ($4888 per month) and includes a competitive benefits package that includes health insurance, CalPERS retirement, 21 days of annual paid vacation, etc.

With its millionth audience member attending during its recently completed seventh full season, the Harris Center for the Arts at Folsom Lake College is a $50 million regional performing arts center that seeks to enrich the lives of people throughout California's capital region by providing venues and opportunities to experience artistic work, celebrate cultural traditions and participate in the creative process.  The Center features three intimate state-of-the-art performance spaces, an art gallery, recording studio, and spacious educational facilities.
