General Statement of Duties
The Hult Center for the performing arts is a beacon for arts and culture providing exceptional experiences to our communities. Our mission is to enrich the cultural life of our region and we are indeed a regional Center, not only serving our communities in the Eugene metro-area, but communities from seven counties. For nearly 40 years, the Hult Center has been the pride of Eugene serving as the home for performing arts and providing some of the regions fondest personal memories.  From family milestones to that unforgettable moment of seeing a performance that has such lasting impact, the Hult Center is an incredibly special place.

As part of the larger Cultural Services division of the City of Eugene, we take immense pride in the work we do to enrich and deepen cultural experiences for our community as well as increase access to the arts. Our purpose is to elevate the human spirit and we wholeheartedly believe the work we do improves the lives of our community.

With two performance halls, the Silva Concert Hall (seats 2448) and the Soreng Theater (seats 500) and other ancillary spaces, the Center is home to more than 800 events each year, including performances from our Resident Companies and local arts organizations, Broadway, and commercial touring. The Center has its own presenting series, curating approximately 35 performances a year. And, we're growing! We are increasing our programming and services to enhance our engagement and collaboration with our communities, provide equity and access and steward the Center into the future. We're looking for professionals who are passionate about performing arts and ready to make an impact as a champion in our community.

The Hult Center Marketing Manager assists the Marketing Director in the oversight and management of Hult Center marketing team and all communications and campaigns. This role will be responsible for specific lines of programming and ensuring that all campaigns are planned and executed on schedule and on budget as well as being responsible for maintaining institutional brand guidelines. The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for being a forward face for the institution and capable of generating and maintaining strong relationships throughout the community with press, partners, and other stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate
You have experience working in marketing and promoting live events with revenue backed objectives and are looking for greater experience overseeing marketing for a performing arts center. You have a passion for the arts and find value in helping others connect to them and enjoy the challenge of constantly thinking outside the box to reach them. You understand the value of relationships with partners, internal and external, and do your utmost to represent the venue in a professional and inviting manner. You work well with others and enjoy a team approach to problem solving while also keeping an eye on the horizon for what comes next. You are a proven multi-tasker and have the ability to oversee multiple projects at once with a strong attention to detail and project management.
