Pitchbook, American Dance Abroad’s publication promoting new U.S. dance projects to an international audience, is open for submissions now through October 17, 2016. This second volume of Pitchbook will feature five in-development projects and ten ready-to-tour projects. “Pitching” new work to potential producers and presenters is a great way to attract international partners and funding, without the necessity or expense of traveling.
Pitchbook is available through print and digital formats, and is distributed by American Dance Abroad to international programmers at marketplaces and professional gatherings such as the internationale tanzmesse nrw, CINARS, Shanghai International Arts festival, and ICE HOT Nordic Dance Platform.
If your work is selected, you will be required to submit up to two images, your company logo (all high resolution), artist concept of the new work, a five-minute video pitch (must be available for public viewing), and other pertinent information.
