Tell us about your work.

I am an artist from the Central African Republic (CAR), digging and growing my central African roots music, and crafting it with my experiences in soul, RnB and pop.

How old were you when you knew you wanted to be an artist, and where were you?

I was an adolescent in CAR. It was in Bangui, the capital city. Back from France, I was trying to sing in the hip hop band of my brothers. But they would not let me in. So, I had to work a lot. Finally they came after me, hearing me sing with other bands! They were jealous, and I was in!

If you were on an island and could only bring three things, what would you bring?

The complete work of Emile Zola. I just love this writer. Better than any movie or series.

What is the best advice you’ve gotten from your mentor or a WAA Member?

"We know you can do it but show people that you have the best experience to do what you are applying for."

Name an artist you’d love to meet and why?

I would have loved to meet Michael Jackson because I would have loved to sing and dance with him - modern dance choreography on roots African music.

"There is just one life, I wouldn't do anything else, It is too important."

What are your 3 goals for 2016?

Get a videoclip launch, have my album recorded and have fun as I will be back on the African continent in the Ivory Coast for the Masa festival. There's a fourth one, get back to WAA in Los Angeles!

What are you working on now?

I am working on my next album, still digging my "sanza" touch – mixing organic sounds with nice melodies – and preparing my come back in Africa!
