Meet the 2023 PAD Showcase Artists

Artists on the Rise & Ready to Tour Internationally

We’re excited to announce the 2023 PAD Showcase artist cohort — 25 talented artists and ensembles from eleven U.S. states representing a range of disciplines and genres.

Each artist/ensemble will receive expert support to create a professionally produced virtual showcase video that will be shared with international audiences, and to aid their own promotional strategies.

Production will begin this month, and the showcases will be launched on the virtual PAD Showcase platform this August.

Congratulations to:

The Performing Arts Discovery (PAD) program promotes U.S. performing artists to international programmers, festival directors, and venue managers. The program aims to expand international markets and generate overseas touring opportunities for U.S. performing artists through its two initiatives: PAD Showcase and PAD X.

PAD is generously funded by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and the U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration’s (ITA) Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP) and is managed by WAA on behalf of the six Regional Arts Organizations.
