Makaveli Gresham joined the WAA staff as Administrative Assistant in March 2021. Originating from Oklahoma City they moved to Portland to study Architecture at Portland State University, primarily focusing on the representation of black identity in the built environment. While at PSU, they held the Cinema Manager position at 5th Avenue Cinema, Oregon’s only student run cinema hoping to expand people’s cultural awareness through film programming. 

In addition to this, Makaveli cultivates a personal art practice primarily focusing in small designed objects and analog photography.
