South Arts is accepting applications for the next cycle of Jazz Road Tours — an artist-centric grant program that puts funds directly in the hands of jazz artists across the U.S. to connect with audiences around the country. Jazz Road Tours will operate on regularly recurring application cycles through 2026.

For Tours Taking Place: April 1, 2025 - October 1, 2025

Deadline: December 1, 2024
Applicants Notified: February 15, 2025

Jazz Road Tours grants range from $5,000 to $15,000, funding the artists directly to cover a portion of eligible tour expenses including artist fees, travel, housing, meals, backline, road/sound/tour management, and costs related to tour coordination and promotion. The Jazz Road Tours program is designed to help artists earn a living wage while on the road.

If you are an applicant in the West (as defined by Creative West) please contact WAA’s Membership & Programs Coordinator, Makaveli Gresham for questions and application support.
